Happy New Year!!
I can't believe it's January, and I'm just now revealing the kitchen that we started remodeling last summer. Hopefully, you were following along with me on Insta or Facebook, so you could see some of the progress.
I really enjoyed the entire process of this renovation. Although there were some stressful moments, I feel very lucky to have been able to create my dream kitchen. I will provide more details and the rationale behind certain decisions (like why I chose not to put pendants above the island) in future blog posts. But, for today, I thought I'd go with fewer words and more photos :)
This is how the kitchen looked the day before demo began...
And, here it is now...
Thanks for your patience and for indulging my picture overload :) Let me know if you have any questions. I will share more specifics soon!

I really love the little wine bar area under the stairs, what a great use of space! Of course the rest of the kitchen is beautiful, great job!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Susan! I think my husband's favorite thing is the little wine/beer fridge under the stairs :)

ReplyDeleteYour kitchen is beyond amazing! I enjoyed watching it progress on Instagram and now seeing all the photos together are so exciting! It took me awhile to post pictures of my kitchen as well. In fact, I just finally did a post of the changes on each wall so you could really see the before and after. Once again, LOVE your kitchen and all the beautiful colors!

DeleteLOVE the gold hardware! Great design choices and an allover amazing makeover! Awesome job!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ashley!!
DeleteIt's beautiful! I am always interested to see a kitchen reno that must account for stairs. Our house has stairs that come down into the kitchen and they are, for me, proving an obstacle to renovation.
ReplyDeleteLuckily, our stairs didn't create any problems. However, I have had to deal with them in clients' homes where they were in a less than ideal location. Ahhh.. the joys of remodeling! Good luck :)
DeleteBeautiful, and the chandelier steals the show! Great job.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nicki!
DeleteYour kitchen is beautiful!! Like the gold and the chandy! Also like those French bistro chairs!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Angelina!!
DeleteSo so pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mary Ann! Happy New Year!
DeleteBeautiful - What color are your cabinets?
ReplyDeleteThe cabinets are Benjamin Moore "White Dove"
DeleteI found your blog today via instagram and I LOVE your kitchen! Any chance you could share the size and your thoughts on not adding a full pantry? I'm currently in a kitchen remodel and debating this! Would love to hear your thoughts
ReplyDeleteHi Erin ... The kitchen is approx 24' x 15'. Our pantry is actually off the kitchen near the back door. I thought about adding a pantry in the kitchen, but there really wasn't a more convenient place to put it. Hope that helps!
DeleteI wish there were such a nice house.
