In my last post, I promised to share pictures of Courtney's Arizona home.
Today I'm delivering on my promise.
Hold for a moment please.
Okay, thanks. I just had to pat myself on the back. You see, sometimes I promise to post about something and then veer off in another direction. Apparently, my decorating ADD carries over into my blogging. But not today.
So.... come on in and take a tour of this beautiful desert home.
I love how the glass in the front door can swing open. Not sure if it's technically considered a dutch door, as the frame of the door doesn't separate. Either way, it's beautiful.
Love the wood beams and saltillo tile floors. I wish it was warm enough in the Midwest to have all tile floors.
The living room is my favorite spot. It perfectly reflects Courtney: warm, welcoming, sweet, stylish and laid-back.
Check out how high the ceilings are...
The large den includes a sitting area...
and a home office.
Courtney always finds really cool furniture pieces. Isn't that primitive TV cabinet awesome? Love how she displayed her album collection on one of the shelves. Don't get rid of your old albums... they make great art! Back in the day, Courtney and I were college roommates and had album covers hanging on our dorm room wall.
Isn't her bed gorgeous with the carved birds?
Her daughter's room has a beautiful antique bed that belonged to Courtney's grandmother.
This is one of the bathrooms. I like how the toilet is hidden from view, and the cabinetry is real furniture. Check out the wood vanity top and the vessel sink. Very cool.
Okay. I know I said the living room was my favorite, but the boys' bedroom is a very close second. Love the beds made from pallets, and the bedding made from Belgian linen.
In Arizona, outdoor living is important (except maybe in the summer!).
A large covered patio houses an outdoor kitchen, dining area and sitting area.
And, a beautiful mountain view tops it off.
Now, if you've fallen in love with this house and you're planning a move to Arizona, you'll be happy to know the house is on the market.
Courtney's family is renting it until they move into their forever home. They haven't even been in the house for a year, and yet Courtney has managed to make it feel like home. I really admire her ability to do that. I could be in the house for 5 years, and still not have it decorated!
All of my pics were taken from the home's MLS listing. I didn't take any pictures of the house during our visit, as once our clan descended upon it with all our belongings, it wasn't exactly blog worthy :)
If you want to see more of Courtney's decorating style, you can check out her Washington state home that I featured
HERE.
Have a fabulous Friday!!
