It's a Jenny Lind style bed in great condition!
Excuse the lousy, nighttime photos. And, do me a favor. Don't tell my son this is called a "Jenny Lind." I think that would be a deal breaker.
Not to worry, Jenny will be looking much more like a Johnny when I get her dressed :)

Hahaha.. well I would be no help since I thought it was Jenny-Lynn... but just say Amish and I think you be fine :)

Oh, nice bed. The secret is mine.
ReplyDeleteI love it!!! It's such a classic looking bed and I'm sure it will look great when you get the room all put together. Congrats on finally finding the perfect one for the perfect price.
ReplyDeleteLove it- It is a classic and they never go out of style. I have the twin ones in the grandgirls' bedroom...and they belonged to their great-great grandfather when he was a boy. Blessings and I can't wait to see what you do with it! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect - Jenny or Johnny! I like the Amish idea though. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
ReplyDeleteWow! Great find! It's a classic...your son can pass it on to his children.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you have planned!
Such a great classic bed!....No problem it is "our" secret...I am sure you will be doing a great job transforming it to the other "gender"!!....
ReplyDeleteI love those types of beds. Classic and built to last a few life times. I always thought they looked more like a boys bed anyhow!
ReplyDeleteit is awesome! I found one a couple of years ago and painted it gray for my daughter's room, I was not lucky enough to get the wooden rails that go with it though, so I had to use some old metal rails. One of my favorite things about this style of bed is that there is a lot of storage space under it
