The next challenge is to choose a mirror... or two. Previously, we had a very large builder-grade mirror in the space, but I want something more interesting than that.
Here's one option...
Two white mirrors, rather ornate. I like the way the white pops against the navy wall. I kind of like the contrast of the more decorative mirror with the more industrial lighting. But, they may be a bit too overwhelming. Thoughts??
Option 2... You're really going to have to use your imagination with this one. Found this at Home Goods (where else?) and two guys easily loaded it in my minivan for me. When I got home and tried to get it out, I realized it weighed a TON! I nearly killed myself getting it out of the car and across the garage. I kept praying that some good samaritan would stop by and help, but no such luck.
So, the mirror remains in the garage until my husband can rope some poor neighbor into helping him lug it upstairs to the bathroom...
If you hate this option, let me know now. It will save a couple of men from breaking their backs :)
I'd love your opinion on this. I'm a visual person, so I will probably need this second mirror to be held up in place for me to know for sure if I like it.
What do you think? Like either option? Or do you think I should still keep shopping? Perhaps I should go with a more simple white framed mirror?
Can't wait to hear your thoughts! Thanks! Happy Friday :)
the two seperate white ones! Great Detail and I love the break in between!
ReplyDeleteAll of the mirrors are beautiful but I would go with the two white ones...they look pretty against the navy! Good luck!

I like the two white ones as well! I think they add visual interest to the space. Have you thought about painting the vanity at all?
ReplyDeletedefinitely option 1! they pop against the wall and i like the look of the two separate mirrors as well.
ReplyDeleteLove the white ones too!
ReplyDeleteMeasure the size of the second mirror and then tape the paper that size to the wall. You might find that it doesn't reach quite long enough or like the centering of it on the wall. That will help you out!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the white ones! They are so beautiful against the navy walls. Love it!!
ReplyDeleteI love the ornate white ones! They are beautiful, and the contrast would look very sophisticated!
ReplyDeleteTwo white mirrors for sure! I like the ones you have chose and they will look lovely I am sure. With that being said, I may look for something less ornate with cleaner lines. I am picturing some chunky white frames. Looking great and I love the pendant idea!!

ReplyDeleteDefinitely the white ones.......Great choice.
ReplyDeleteI hope you didn't hurt your back. I love the idea of the two white ones. I love them and love navy and white together. Such a classic. Love those lights!
ReplyDelete2 white ones. :)
ReplyDeletebe careful in your shopping in the future! don't get hurt.
I guess I have to go against the grain... but I love the second option. I am more of a minimalist and just don't think I could 'clean' the elaborate white frames on a regular basis in the bath. But, depending on the 'fit' of Option 2... it would have to be JUST RIGHT on all sides to look the part! Wish I had that mirror - it is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.. enjoy your weekend. Jalon
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE the white ones! Can I ask where you found them? I've been looking for some just like that forever.
ReplyDeleteThink I'm joining the rest of the group and saying I like the white ones - love the two separate mirrors over the counter.
ReplyDeleteEither one would look good. I'm kind of liking the one big one best, though, because of the color of the frame coordinating with the light fixtures. Although, I love the idea of each sink having it's own mirror too, and the white frames really pop against the dark wall color. So, now I'm back to saying either one would look good! Ha! It's hard to say without seeing the large one in the room like you have the white ones. Are you leaning towards one in particular?
ReplyDeleteI love the two white ones...looks beautiful with the navy. Can't wait to see what you've choosen. Thanks for sharing, liz
ReplyDeleteI also love the white ones! The contrast is ultra sophisticated!!!
ReplyDeleteGotta say- I love the white ones. I think they really pop against the backdrop AND I like the separate room look! Good luck making the choice- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI have to say I love the second option. I love the color of the frame and think that it would go nicely in the room
ReplyDeleteLove the two white ones and love how they pop against the navy walls!
ReplyDeletelove them both! As stated by previous posts, the white contrast is great, but also expected(?)
ReplyDeleteI like the one big mirror to bring the 2 sinks together....can't wait to see what you end up doing. I'm sure it will be fabulous!
Love the white ones. They look great with the blue. Cant wait to see the end results. so far it looks great!
ReplyDeleteI would opt for a fun house mirror--I mean could you look any worse first thing in the morning, anyway?
ReplyDeleteI would definitely go with 2 white ones - either the ones you've got there now, or something chunky and less ornate. I think white against the navy is stunning, especially with your lighting :)
ReplyDeleteLove the first option, I think I just bought the matching mirror for my guest room!
