Guess what happened to me last week?
Mmmm hmmm.... Computer Crash!!!
I have never had this happen before, and it has completely freaked me out. My laptop is in the shop, the hard drive is shot, and I'm praying that they'll be able to recover my files... and more importantly, my pictures!
I'm in the market for a new computer, and I'd love to get your input. I'm considering this...
The 13" Macbook Pro. Anyone have one of these? I'd love to get your feedback. Please let me know what computer you have and what you like/dislike about it. Thanks!!!
Unfortunately, I'll be out of blogging commission until my technical issues are resolved. Hoping to be up and running later this week.
Have a great day :)
Sorry to hear your computer crashed...I have no recommendations for you. Keeping my fingers crossed that they can retrieve all the important stuff :o)

Oh-How awful! Is there anything worse than thinking you have lost everything? I hope they can restore your pictures and files.
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about Mac's but I understand there is quite a learning curve to them. My daughter loves her Apple and I am very content with my HP Pavillion because it has the oversized screen and is easy to use. Good luck! xo Diana
I share your pain..have been there. Best thing that could have happened is when my Dell got yet another virus and my husband insisted on buying me a mac. It has been amazing, at first I was reluctant to change, being the creature of habit that I am but after 4 or 5 days..I was hooked, its an incredible super user friendly machine, and the graphics and ease blow PC's out of the water..just my humble opionion. I am a desktop kind of gal but my kids all have the Macbook and can't live without it! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteWe are strictly a Mac family & there is nothing like it. Super user friendly, really nothing to learn except how to figure out how you lived without a Mac for this long. I just got the 13" Macbook Pro & I LOVE it. You won't be sorry, I promise!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a MacBook Pro and have never regretted it and will never have anything other than a Mac from now on. You will not regret getting a Mac either. They are awesome and the folks at the stores are extremely helpful.
ReplyDeleteWe're a MAC only family too! Do it! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is awful when that happens!!!
ReplyDeleteI had the MacBook Pro, but now I have the MacBook Air and I LOVE IT...it is so thin and light...The only thing you cannot do is insert a CD in..but I rarely do that and I have another computer that I can use for that..
I have a huge Apple fan...worth every penny!
Carolyn, I've never commented before, but wanted to tell you I just bought the 13" Macbook Pro this week. We are a Mac family - always have been. My previous laptop, which was a Macbook, is now my husband's computer. They are worth every penny. They never get viruses. They work beautifully. Macs are extremely user friendly.
ReplyDeleteAnd the colors are amazingly vivid on the screen. I love NanaDiana, but there is absolutely no learning curve to a MAC. It's intuitive and within a couple of hours you will wonder how you ever got by without one.
Claudia
Whole family of MAC users here, none of us would ever switch back.

Oh no! So sorry to hear about your computer! I hope they can recover your files. I've been an apple user since 2001 and there's no turning back :-) I started out with a desktop and now have a macbook pro. You can't go wrong with apple!
ReplyDeleteSO sorry about your computer. I have a HP and love it! I so hope you haven't lost everything.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
UGG....sorry to hear about your computer. We all have Toshiba Satellites in my house. No matter what....they all break. For the price of 2 and 1/2 of mine, you can get that Apple. I think it is so personal though. Happy shopping!
ReplyDeleteGlad to be back....was taking time off. Gotta go read a few of your other posts I missed.
I've been using a Mac since the late 80s! I've had a 17" MacBook Pro for about 7 years (was the Powerbook) and I love it! Never a virus, easy to use... can't beat it. Hope they can recover everything for you!
ReplyDeleteWe are a Mac family!!!! Laptops, Iphones and IPads!! Have had only Apple computers since 1987. They are a joy and go on and on and on and on. Good luck with your choice!!!
ReplyDeleteA PC crashing would really freak anyone out! To lessen your burden and frustrations, back up your PC! Don't depend on its hard drive alone; you could either copy your files to an external hard drive or back it up online. I hope your PC works fine by now! RUBY@WilliamsDataManagement.com
