Sea Salt

Gosh... my blog titles are real creative lately, aren't they? I've got to go wake up a napper, pick up my kids from school and head to the orthodontist. However, I thought you might want to see how the new Sea Salt walls turned out.

It was difficult to get real good shots because the sun isn't shining.... just as it hasn't been shining for, I don't know, about 30 days!

This is the back staircase. Sea Salt is only one shade down on the color chart from the kitchen walls, which are Comfort Gray. I need to redo the gallery wall I had going on here. Maybe my soon-to-be 3 year old will actually get his photo on the wall now. But, don't hold me to that. I know... bad mom!

Yes... parents, grandparents and great, great, great grandparents are on the wall. Don't worry, honey. Mommy will get you on the wall before you turn 100!

Now, please throw out a little prayer that one of my children will not require orthodontic work. I've got one in braces, and a thumb-sucker who will definitely be following suit. One out of 4 isn't too much to ask, is it??

 Have a great afternoon :)

  3. Gorgeous...you sound like me with the lack of sunshine. I have come to realize I just can't take pictures in the house with no sun. Mine turn out terrible. Yours are pretty darn good!

  4. I love it! The color is beautiful and is just perfect! Good luck with the kiddo's mouth. My daughter was lucky enough to marry into a family with an orthodontist for a brother-in-law! xo Diana

  5. I love (and I do mean love) your new wall color! It is soft and gentle and looks beautiful in your home. I think you're going to enjoy this new color very much. I like it with the pops of black on the stair railing and the black picture frames and the brass door handles. It all goes so well together. We have enjoyed very little sunshine ourselves. Today is the last day we're going to get it this week. Arrgghh!

  7. Beautiful color! Good luck with the ortho - we say we have one with braces and one with the million dollar mouth (requires expander, braces, appliances....$$$)

  12. I have to say, that colour looks way better than I expected! It's fresh and lovely and soft....gorgeous!

We aren't having any sun here in Toronto either, although at least we aren't having lots of snow. I do miss the sun though!

Anyway, good luck with the teeth and your walls are lovely!

  15. It looks beautiful. Fresh.

On the ortho situation... I had two go through it. One for a very long time, starting young because of a class three under bite that runs in my hubby's family. The one that only needed a few years, hasn't done a great job wearing his retainer and his teeth are not perfect. UrgH! All the years, the appts., the time, the money. I feel for ya big time...

  17. We had a professional family photo taken when my oldest son was one. 14 years and 4 children later we still have not gotten around to having another one done - so don't feel too bad. x Sharon (Love the Sea Salt!)

  26. So pretty! But maybe I'm a bit biased, since just painted my kids' Jack and Jill bathroom in this same color. Nah, not biased - great minds think alike, right? ;-)
