It was difficult to get real good shots because the sun isn't shining.... just as it hasn't been shining for, I don't know, about 30 days!
This is the back staircase. Sea Salt is only one shade down on the color chart from the kitchen walls, which are Comfort Gray. I need to redo the gallery wall I had going on here. Maybe my soon-to-be 3 year old will actually get his photo on the wall now. But, don't hold me to that. I know... bad mom!
Yes... parents, grandparents and great, great, great grandparents are on the wall. Don't worry, honey. Mommy will get you on the wall before you turn 100!
Now, please throw out a little prayer that one of my children will not require orthodontic work. I've got one in braces, and a thumb-sucker who will definitely be following suit. One out of 4 isn't too much to ask, is it??
Have a great afternoon :)

It turned out so beautiful, I absolutely love that color!
ReplyDeleteI will say a little prayer for ya, I got one in braces too and that is one too many. Good luck!
xoxo
I love it.

Hope the sun begins shinning soon
Gorgeous...you sound like me with the lack of sunshine. I have come to realize I just can't take pictures in the house with no sun. Mine turn out terrible. Yours are pretty darn good!
ReplyDeleteI love it! The color is beautiful and is just perfect! Good luck with the kiddo's mouth. My daughter was lucky enough to marry into a family with an orthodontist for a brother-in-law! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI love (and I do mean love) your new wall color! It is soft and gentle and looks beautiful in your home. I think you're going to enjoy this new color very much. I like it with the pops of black on the stair railing and the black picture frames and the brass door handles. It all goes so well together. We have enjoyed very little sunshine ourselves. Today is the last day we're going to get it this week. Arrgghh!
ReplyDeleteThe new color is so pretty. My daughter had braces, but my son didn't thank goodness. I sure hope you luck out and don't have to pay for more.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color! Good luck with the ortho - we say we have one with braces and one with the million dollar mouth (requires expander, braces, appliances....$$$)
ReplyDeleteThe new color is beautiful, your entrance hall is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Carolyn! Wish I could see it in person!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice! It looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the orthodontist!

Love the colour, Carolyn! You made the perfect choice.
ReplyDeleteI have to say, that colour looks way better than I expected! It's fresh and lovely and soft....gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWe aren't having any sun here in Toronto either, although at least we aren't having lots of snow. I do miss the sun though!
Anyway, good luck with the teeth and your walls are lovely!
The color looks gorgeous! You did a great job! Now...I have my fingers crossed for the ortho!!!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Oh my, this is gorgeous! I love the color, but the house as a whole is even more gorgeous! And the pics look great, sunshine or not! :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful. Fresh.
ReplyDeleteOn the ortho situation... I had two go through it. One for a very long time, starting young because of a class three under bite that runs in my hubby's family. The one that only needed a few years, hasn't done a great job wearing his retainer and his teeth are not perfect. UrgH! All the years, the appts., the time, the money. I feel for ya big time...
What a beautiful, calming color! I really love it, especially with your rug.

We had a professional family photo taken when my oldest son was one. 14 years and 4 children later we still have not gotten around to having another one done - so don't feel too bad. x Sharon (Love the Sea Salt!)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. This color is stunning. It's the perfect pale blue/gray/green... beautiful! I'm also crazy jealous of that staircase. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt turned out even prettier than I imagined it would! It's so fresh - I'm definitely painting this colour in our place when we move from here! xo

Love the color! I just painted my kitchen sea salt and was thinking about using it for my sunroom, but wasn't sure. Now that I've seen your home painted with it, I'm going to do it!
ReplyDeleteLove the color, so pretty! I have my oldest heading to get braces this week, ouch says the bank account.

This turned out so nice!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! But maybe I'm a bit biased, since just painted my kids' Jack and Jill bathroom in this same color. Nah, not biased - great minds think alike, right? ;-)
