Yesterday I stumbled upon some photographs I took about 5 years ago of a beautiful model home in a local neighborhood. Since the pictures are just sitting in a file on my computer, and I may not uncover them for another 5 years, I thought I'd share them here with you. Of course, blogging wasn't even on my radar at the time, so I didn't take a lot of pictures, and some are a little fuzzy. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy looking at them ...
If memory serves me, someone bought the house, fully furnished, for $1.3 million. Obviously, there was much more to it than what I've shown, but what do you think of it? I remember being blown away by the beautiful trim work in the foyer and the upstairs hallway.
Thanks for visiting! Have a great day :)
It looks like a beautiful home. I love the kitchen with the double island and sage woodwork.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Carol!

It's a beautiful home. It's funny how all of those accessories in the kitchen/dining area feel so cluttered to me now - styling seems to have become a lot simpler nowadays.

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous home! I love all the textures going on in the kitchen area. I love going through Parade of Homes and seeing everything like this, it is like a magazine come to life. :)

I love looking at model homes. It seems there are fewer and fewer of them these days with the housing market not being what it was. I enjoyed looking at these pics. I really loved the bench in the foyer (of course).
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, love the kitchen!!!
ReplyDeleteI want to live here! That's a gorgeous house, with all the woodwork, lighting oh my it's wonderful!

All that and it looks like it is on lake!
ReplyDeleteI think you should feature some of the waterfront property in your area.
Love the vibe there... makes me want to get my house done... so very far to go before I sleep!

I am drooling over those light fittings! What a beautiful home they have. Thank you for the pictures:)
ReplyDeleteI think the house is beautiful - the only thing I'd change is to reduce some of the furniture/accessories because it looks a little congested. The architectural details are great, and love the light fixtures - especially the two over the dining room table.
ReplyDeleteWe're so glad that Jackson is back home too :-) Now if my hubby would just stop snoring, I might get a decent night's sleep! ;-)
I see your bathroom inspiration. I don't have photos on my computer from five years ago as I computer crashed and I lost everything. The I bought a Mac and an external backup. Now, after four years...I feel like I need a new Mac...oh well. Pretty home.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful home. I love all the woodwork too.
ReplyDeletePretty architecture - those beams and all that trim!
ReplyDeleteI just nominated you for the Versatile Bloggers award! You can check out my blog for all the details.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful home! I am so happy you shared the pictures of it! Georgia has so many foreclosures- we just don't have these gorgeous models anymore. I love this one! Thanks for sharing it! I see some great ideas in it!
ReplyDeletewhewww...that is a beautify! I just read your trim post and yes white trim is wonderful! You will love it with the darker cabinets and all.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, indeed. The chandeliers are pretty eye-catching, especially the one beside the stairs. The lights gave more life to the kitchen. Now that's what I call impressive designing.
