First of all, a great big thank you to everyone who weighed in on our marble countertop dilemma. We met with our contractor yesterday, and she assures me that she has a guy, Mr. Marble, who will be able to fix the countertop to our satisfaction. He will be out here mid-week to have a go at it, so we'll see what happens. Crossing my fingers...
You may have sensed that the marble situation was affecting my mood. But this gift from a friend really cheered me up...
